Mrs. Geeta Prakash Pillai is an esteemed Academician and Administrator with nearly 20 plus years of experience in education. As the Principal of D Y Patil Dnyanshanti School, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from her extensive career. Prior to joining DYPDSS, Mrs. Pillai dedicated 13 years to one of the leading CBSE schools in Wakad, where she rose from a teacher to the Chief Executive Principal.
Her teaching journey began at her alma mater, St. Ursula’s High School, Nigdi, where she nurtured her passion for education. Throughout her career, Mrs. Pillai has been entrusted with numerous prestigious roles, including Centre Superintendent and Observer for high-profile CBSE exams such as UGC (NET), JEE, Navodaya, and NEET. In 2018, she was honored to serve as the City Coordinator for NEET (UG).
As a Master Trainer with CBSE, she enjoys mentoring and developing other educators. She has also served on inspection committees for the affiliation of four CBSE schools, further showcasing her commitment to enhancing educational standards.
Mrs. Pillai holds a Postgraduate Degree in History from Pune University and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Tilak College of Education, Pune. Her exceptional academic record, consistently achieving distinction and first-class honors, reflects her dedication to excellence in education.
