The government has recently announced the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in efforts to improve the quality of education for students. This new policy is sure to broaden our students horizons and expand their skill set, grooming independent thinkers and all-rounders with multiple useful capabilities!

Vocational Skills
The new policy adds vocational studies to the curriculum. Students can now learn skills such as carpentry, gardening, pottery, electric work, metalwork and more!

Bagless Days
We are all aware of the burden of heavy bags. The NEP 2020 talks of school days where students come in without a bag! On these days they will focus on arts, sports, quizzes and vocational crafts.

Indian Sign Language (ISL)
This is an addition that promotes inclusivity of the differently-abled. Students will be given special training to learn ISL.

Online Learning
Inspired by the on-going pandemic, the government will strengthen digital learning facilities.

New Plans for Differently-abled Children
They will now be able to attend regular school and will be aided with cross-disability training, resource centres, accommodation, assistive devices, appropriate technology-based tools and other support mechanisms unique to their needs.

No More Hard Separation of Streams
The societal bias between Science and Arts students is a thing of the past! Students are now free to choose and club any set of subjects together for higher classes.

Regular Mental & Physical Health Checkups
Schools will make sure your child is at their best not only academically but also physically and more importantly, mentally. We are on a path to eradicating the taboo around mental health completely for the coming generations.

After-school Classes for Adults
One should never stop learning no matter how old they are! The NEP 2020 proposes that schools open campus doors to educate adults after school hours.
